Tony Bontana is a pioneering rapper, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Birmingham, UK, celebrated for his signature “Splayed” sound. This unique style blends heavily manipulated samples, non-linear rhythms, and deeply introspective lyricism. As the founder of Everything Is Perfect Records, he has become a cornerstone of the UK’s experimental underground scene.
Bontana is exceptionally prolific, with over 35 albums to his name. His notable works include L’Humanité (2024), TUMPIT (2025), and The Beautiful Malaise, which earned a spot in The Wire’s top 50 albums of 2025.
