TOMMY WÁ

Voiced with deep passion, Tommy WÁ is establishing his blend of contemporary African Indie music whilst redefining preconceived notions of what African music sounds like. His sound travels the expanse of his Nigerian roots and caters to the cravings of Accra, where he is based.

Tommy WÁ released ‘Roadman and Folks’ in 2023, a stellar EP which critics called “a moving voyage through the complex fabric of life’s setbacks and victories” and “a distinct sound palette that embraces a modern, worldwide sound while honouring his cultural heritage.” He cites amongst others, Michael Kiwanuka, Asa and Benjamin Clementine as his influences.
