Q. What are the festival dates for 2019?
A. The Great Escape will take place from 9th – 11th May 2019

ARTIST REGISTRATION

Q. I am an artist and would like to play The Great Escape. How do I put myself forward?
A. Artist registration is now closed. Please sign up to our mailing list to be notified on when artist registration opens for TGE 2020

Q. Could we send you our Press Kit?
A. Unfortunately we don’t accept Press Kits or submissions via email.

LINE-UP

Q. When do you start to announce your line up for 2019?
A. Our line up is announced in stages between Sept 2018 – April 2019. Please sign up to our mailing list to receive our line up updates directly into your inbox

Q. I only want to see one of the artists on your line up. Do you sell separate tickets?
A. The only standalone tickets that we sell are for our Spotlight Show. To access all other artists playing TGE you need to purchase a festival ticket

Q. How do I find out the festival schedule?
A. One month prior to TGE we shall release the full festival schedule, including all show times and locations, on our website and free mobile app.

TICKETING

Q. What does a festival ticket get you?
A. A festival ticket gets you access to all core programme artists, subject to each venue’s capacity. Access to our Spotlight Show is via a separate ticket only.

Q. What does a delegate pass get you?
A. Access to the Convention Events which include panels, debates, keynote interviews, networking sessions and parties. You will also get priority access to gigs in our core venues subject to each venue’s capacity.

Q. Can I buy a single day ticket for TGE?
A. Single day and 2 day tickets (Friday & Saturday) are now on sale. These tickets can be purchased here

Q. When will my ticket be sent to me?
A. Tickets will typically be dispatched 2-3 weeks prior to the festival. If you haven’t received your ticket by this time please contact the ticket agent that you booked through. You can find the customer service details of our main ticket agents on our ticket info page. If you purchased via our website the ticket agent is Ticketweb.

Q. Do I need to print my electronic ticket?
A. No, you can show electronic tickets on your phone at wristband exchange

Q. I booked my festival ticket on somebody else’s credit card / I booked tickets for somebody else who won’t have my credit card to collect the tickets. How can tickets be collected on site?
A. If you have arranged for your tickets to be posted to you just bring your ticket to wristband exchange during opening hours and we will exchange your ticket for a wristband. If you have arranged to collect your tickets on site please bring with you a letter from the card owner giving permission for you to collect the tickets. The letter needs to state the name of the person collecting the tickets and the last 4 digits of the credit or debit card used to make the ticket booking.

Q. I think I gave the wrong delivery address when I booked my ticket. What should I do?
A. Please contact the ticket agent that you booked your tickets with. They will be able to assist you with updating your info on their records.

Q. Do I have to be 18 or over to attend TGE?
A. No, if you are aged below 18 please purchase a Young adults ticket which allows access for 16-17 year olds to a good percentage of our venues. Young Adults tickets are now on sale.

Q. I can no longer attend TGE. Can I get a refund?
A. All ticket purchases are non-refundable.

CONFERENCE

Q. What does a delegate pass get you?
A. Access to the Conference Events which include panels, debates, keynote interviews, networking sessions and parties. You will also get priority access to gigs in our core venues subject to each venue’s capacity.

Q. How do I register my attending delegates? What do they need to collect their passes?
A. Once you have purchased your passes the pass buyer will be sent links to register your attending delegates. Once you have completed the registration details for these delegates they will only need to show their photo ID at the registration desk to collect their passes. They will not need the credit card used to make the booking.

Q. I’ve tried to login to the delegates area but am having difficulty. What can I do?
A. The delegates area will open at the end of March. Once this has opened, if you experience any difficulties with access please email delegate@greatescapefestival.com with your booking confirmation number so we can advise. Please note, if you have not completed your online registration you will not be able to access the online delegates area or collect your delegate pass on site

Q. I have booked for my colleagues to attend using a company card. Do they need to bring the card to the box office to collect their passes?
A. No, they will not need the credit card used to make the booking. See above for the process of registering your attending delegates.

Q. I’m interested in attending the convention panels but cannot make the evening gigs. Do you have a pass which allows access to only the TGE Convention?
A. Yes, Conference Only passes are now on sale

Q. I want to attend the convention for just one day / only one panel. Do you have single day convention passes?
A. All convention passes are sold on a 3 day basis

Q. I would like to speak on a panel at this years conference. How do I get in touch with your programmers?
A. You can now register your interest to be a speaker at TGE19 on our website here

ACCOMMODATION

Q. I want to attend TGE but don’t live in Brighton. Where can I stay?
A. Our official festival and delegate accommodation will be available to book very soon

Q. Why don’t I have the option to get a camping ticket when I try and buy a weekend ticket?
A. The Great Escape is a non-camping festival set in Brighton city centre. If you are attending TGE for all three days, we advise that you book to stay at our official TGE hostel. Bookings will open soon.

VOLUNTEERING

Q. I’d like to volunteer. Is this possible?
