Today we officially reveal the final 26 artists announced to complete the highly anticipated FIRST FIFTY line-up, showcasing the most exciting new acts set to perform in 2025. The FIRST FIFTY list has become an essential marker for music lovers, spotlighting emerging talent from across the globe.
The celebrations kick off this evening in East London with a series of exclusive FIRST FIFTY live gigs, spread across eight of the city’s most vibrant venues. Music fans can catch Brighton-based rapper RUBII at Oslo, while MOTH Club will play host to Luvcat. Sebright Arms will welcome Chloe Slater, and Paper Dress Vintage will feature The Orchestra (For Now), promising a night filled with diverse and captivating sounds.
The final wave of artists covers a spectrum of genres and styles. Welsh pop-rock singer-songwriter CATTY and Mercury Prize-nominated jazz ensemble corto.alto join the roster, alongside the eclectic Worldbeat group Sirens Of Lesbos. The line-up also includes anti-establishment rap artist Miss Kaninna, Indigenous Australian singer-songwriter Tia Gostelow, and indie band Laundromat Chicks from Vienna.
Music lovers can also look forward to performances from jazz acts like London’s Oreglo and Mongolian singer-songwriter Enji, as well as folk sensations Daffo and Faroese-Nordic artist Eivør. Fans of indie-rock will be treated to Canadian group Nap Eyes (pictured) and indie-grime innovator JD Cliffe, while bedroom-pop enthusiasts can enjoy Australian artist Nick Ward and the dreamy electro-pop of Clara Kimera.
Further additions to the line-up include Chicago rapper Kaicrewsade, indie-pop TikTok stars Zimmer90, grunge-soul vocalist Ashaine White, London-based harpist Marysia Osu, electrifying sibling duo PUNCHBAG, and soul-influenced singer-songwriter Nectar Woode. Japanese dance-pop act Chameleon Lime Whoopiepie, New Zealand’s NO CIGAR, Irish singer Ellie O’Neill, and Dutch indie band The Klittens complete the stellar selection. As the ultimate destination for discovering the future of music, The Great Escape will host over 450 emerging artists across 35+ walkable venues in Brighton from May 14th to 17th, 2025. Music industry professionals can also attend the TGE conference, which runs alongside the festival, offering unique insights and networking opportunities.
