Suzan Köcher’s Suprafon seamlessly blend Psychedelia, Dream Pop, Krautrock, Disco, 60s influences, Desert Americana and Cinema Noir elements. Their hypnotic sound has won acclaim at festivals including Reeperbahn, as well as SXSW and WDR Rockpalast. This growing recognition was further underlined by winning the Pop NRW Award 2025 in the category “Outstanding Artist”. Their third album, In These Dying Times (Unique Records, 2024), reflects present-day unrest, societal cracks and personal introspection. The german-turkish musician Suzan Köcher explores self-empowerment, escapism and confronting fear.
