Indie specialist Melanie Baker writes songs about queer iden(ty, the anxie(es of modern life and killing her houseplants. Originally hailing from the Lake District and now based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, she has opened up for the likes of Maisie Peters, dodie, and Jen Cloher and has been supported by 6 Music, Radio 1, Radio 2 & BBC Introducing. Her new EP “Burnout Baby” is set to be released on April 5th on DuBlonde’s label Daemon TV.
