Josephine Illingworth is a London-based musician and artist who paints pictures with sound. Her debut release ‘Silent Earth’ topped the TikTok viral charts and caught the attention of millions worldwide, leading to sold out headline London shows at Folklore Hoxton and St. Pancras Old Church, as well as supports with contemporaries Matt Maltese, Florence Road and Sarah Julia, cementing her as one of the most eagerly anticipated voices of today. Following the release of her self-written and self-produced debut EP ‘The Roaming’, championed by Sian Eleri at Radio 1, Guy Garvey at 6 Music , aswell as the Guardian, Josephine won the BBC Tune Into Nature Prize for her work, and is set to release her sophomore EP ‘Bright Things I Found In The Dark’ in May alongside playing The Great Escape Festival in May and Truck Festival in July.
