HEADSEND

(Australia)

(Rock)

HEADSEND is a rock band from the outskirts of Byron Bay, Australia. Founded by Rasmus King (vocals/guitar), the band delivers raw, nostalgic energy infused with a modern edge.

Rasmus began writing and recording original music in 2022. By 2024, HEADSEND had grown into a full band, with Rasmus joined by his brother Kyuss King (bass) and their schoolmate Bon Soric (drums). Inspired by 90s icons like Fugazi, Nirvana, and Smashing Pumpkins, the trio blends these influences with touches of David Bowie, The Beatles, and Beck to carve out their own unique sound.

Collaborating with producers including Mike Crossey (Arctic Monkeys, The 1975) and Nick DiDia (Pearl Jam, Rage Against the Machine), HEADSEND has forged an authentic, powerful sonic identity. Their debut release “STOVE” (recorded by Nick DiDia, mixed by Mike Crossey, mastered by Steve Fallone) is out now (on Bandcamp & YouTube), introducing the band to a growing audience.
