Anna-Mieke Bishop, known as Anna Mieke, is an Irish folk singer-songwriter from County Wicklow. undertaking a residency in New York in 2022, Anna Mieke then toured North American for 16 dates, supporting Florist and Iron and Wine across Europe and US in 2023. Supporting the renowned supergroup Lankum, Anna Mieke perfectly blends Irish folk with contemporary songwriting. Playing the Cello outside of her solo career with Cork band HEX, Anna Mieke explores the importance and use of soundscape manipulation, improv and the complexities with arrangements and harmonies.
