The Great Escape Conference full 2026 programme is here, marking the festivals 20th anniversary with the most ambitious schedule to date. Taking place in Brighton from Wednesday 13 May to Friday 15 May, the conference brings together global industry leaders, artists and innovators for three days of essential insight, discussion and networking.
Newly announced is a standout keynote conversation on Friday 15 May, presented by The Independent, featuring cultural icon Peaches (pictured) in conversation with artist, producer and TRANS VOICES co-founder ILĀ. The session will explore artistry, identity and innovation in today’s music landscape.
They join previously announced keynotes including Melanie C, Ian Murray MP, Emma Banks, Natasha Gregory and Molly Neuman – forming a programme that reflects the key conversations shaping the industry today.
Programme Highlights
Wednesday 13 May – Focus on live music and night-time culture, including grassroots venue discussions and an NTIA-led panel on UK genres as cultural heritage
Thursday 14 May – Artist careers, rights and industry insight, with sessions from TikTok, AIM and PPL, plus a Council of Music Makers industry trends panel
Friday 15 May (Next Gen Day) – Future-focused sessions from Youth Music, BPI and AWAL, alongside discussions on accessibility, representation and safety
Additional sessions come from PRS, BBC Introducing, EarthPercent, UK Music, CIISA and more, alongside CALM’s Music Saved My Life panel featuring Ed O’Brien and Nadine Shah.
