Music Support Presents: The Power of Community for the Wellbeing of the Industry

Mental Health Awareness Week takes place between 12th – 18th May with the theme of ‘Community.’ Being part of a safe, positive community is vital for our mental health and wellbeing. The rise in demand to Music Support’s services across the board tells them that our industry peers are still struggling with feelings of depression, anxiety and isolation, meaning community and connection have never been more important. Join Music Support (the charity that helps anyone who works in the UK music industry experiencing substance use, addiction and/or mental health challenges), for a discussion on the power of community and how you can engage with the charity to build healthy networks across the music industry, reducing stigma and creating safe spaces where every individual has the support and connection they need to truly thrive.

The Great Escape Presents: In conversation with Pat Nevin and Simon Raymonde

A very special conversation is set to take place this year between legendary broadcaster, footballer, DJ and music aficionado Pat Nevin and his long-time friend, Cocteau Twins member and Bella Union founder Simon Raymonde.
Hosted by DJ, broadcaster and music journalist Georgie Rogers, Pat will share his passion for music and fandom together with Simon who will discuss his storied career and new book ‘In One Ear: Cocteau Twins, Ivor Raymonde and Me’, described by Elton John as “a wonderful book of pop music history”.
