The Gulps

Hailing from different corners of the world, The Gulps are singer Javier and guitarist Juan Carlos (Spain), guitarist Francesco (Italy), bassist Sophie (England) and drummer Freddy (Norway).

Formed by Javier, Juan Carlos and Francesco in 2019 after meeting at the Institute of Contemporary Music and Performance in London, they gained instant notoriety thanks to their great staging. Their success was such that they managed to catch the attention of legendary agent Steve Strange before his untimely passing. Similarly, in 2021 the band was signed to Creation Records legend, Alan McGee, who discovered bands such as Oasis, The Jesus and Mary Chain and The Hives.

During 2022 they toured the UK accompanying bands like Cast or Carl Barât, as well as touring throughout Spain.

In 2023 they performed in England and did a summer festival tour in Spain. They also released their most recent single, Surrender, produced by Tim Wheeler (Ash).
