East London artist simon a. blends alternative rap, soul and experimental electronics into a sound that feels both familiar and refreshingly different. Recently featured on the cover of BBC Introducing’s ‘For Fans of James Blake’, the Nigerian-Italian artist draws influence from artists like James Blake, Tyler, the Creator and Sampha while carving out a distinctive voice of his own.
His music has received support from COLORSxSTUDIO, NME, GUAP and Notion, alongside BBC Radio 1Xtra and BBC Introducing. Live highlights include All Points East, Tramlines and Boomtown, alongside frequent performances at Ronnie Scott’s and supporting Guvna B. Across 2024–26, he has received four Youth Music Awards nominations across three categories. His 2025 visual rap mixtape I CAN’T SELL THIS culminated in a sold-out film premiere featuring 13 original music videos.
