Perth-based independent artist Mitch Santiago makes guitar heavy indie rock with a solid drum backbone, big hooks and relatable lyrics that sound like they’ve been pulled straight from late night phone calls.
Writing, producing and performing his own music, he’s forged a distinct sound that blends raw rock energy with soul and beautifully honest songwriting. Returning to the UK for key performances at The Great Escape as his new EP Heathrow releases, Mitch continues building momentum off the back of headline shows across London, Rotterdam and Amsterdam, and showcase performances at BIGSOUND, Reeperbahn Festival,Germany and SXSW Sydney, establishing himself as one of Australia’s most exciting emerging indie rock artists.
