Max Baby

Max Baby never learned music the traditional way — he learned by doing. Raised near Bourges, far from any scene, he built his first drum kit at six and taught himself piano, guitar, and recording through instinct and experimentation. The name “Baby,” inherited across three generations, reflects a family history shaped by rupture and resilience. A synesthete, Max experiences sound as colour, texture, and space.

Based at Greasy Studios in Montmagny, he recorded his debut EP OUT OF CONTROL, INTO THE WALL live, with raw, abrasive intensity. His new EP BREAK expands that vision, blending post-modern indie, alternative rock, experimental pop, and electronica. A true multi-instrumentalist and producer, Max Baby crafts nocturnal, physical music — instinctive, emotional, and deliberately unpolished.
