Georgia Knight

Georgia Knight is a highly acclaimed new talent. Melbourne-born but sometimes New Zealand-based, the independent release of her debut album Beanpole (“an evocative set of dimly-lit, hypnotic, psych-tinted pop”, says KEXP) was a highly regarded work that led to praise from the likes of Sharon Van Etten, Arab Strap and BBC Radio 6 Music. Critics have raved about her “shadowy, seductive trip-hop textures” (KCRW), her “extraordinary vocal range [and] graveside poems” (The 13th Floor) and her “goosebumps”-inducing live performances (BBC Radio 6). In support of the album, Georgia was booked to perform a string of highly coveted shows like The Great Escape Festival (UK), Golden Plains (AU), Phoenix Central Park (AU), The Others Way (NZ), Port Noise (NZ) and more. Elsewhere, her 2023 EP Hell on Bent Street saw a swift rise in profile, and led to Georgia performing with the likes of Blonde Redhead (USA) and Mogwai (SCT).
