Pack of Animals

Pack of Animals are a young, outspoken Bristol-based rock and roll band formed by long-term friends who have played music together since their teens. After years of grafting, lineup changes, and living under one roof together at uni, the band gradually honed both their sound and identity through old-fashioned grit rather than hype, handouts or industry shortcuts.

Their music speaks to the pressure of navigating early adulthood in the city without a safety net: being skint, relationships, overindulgence, working multiple jobs, and taking risks with real consequences. There’s confidence in the songs earned through their persistence and repetition as a unit. The writing is direct and honest, drawing from lived experience as a British adolescent rather than from abstraction.

Sonically, Pack of Animals sit in a modern British guitar band lineage shaped by Madchester and Britpop influences such as The Stone Roses and early Oasis, and bands like Kasabian and The Jesus and Mary Chain.
