VVV [Trippin’you]

According to the band themselves, the label we should use to describe their music is RME. What the hell is RME? Radical Mostoles electronics. Their own authentic variant of synth-punk. An indigenous sound that, after the logical comparisons with Crystal Castles, Lebanon Hanover, and Fasenuova at the beginning of their career, has ended up making them a totally recognisable project. At this point, VVV [Trippin’you] sound like… VVV [Trippin’you].

Their 2023 album, Vaciador, takes its title from Vaciador 34, a self-managed cultural centre in Madrid that closed its doors in 2020, swallowed up by real estate greed. It was the band’s tribute to the space where they rehearsed and forged much of their musical identity.
