Winnie Ama is a Northern-Irish-Ghanaian artist blending soulful vocals with pop, disco, and dance. Inspired by Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, and Nina Simone, she debuted in 2020. She has opened for Macy Gray, Sister Sledge, and Cymande, and was named a BBC Introducing Rising Star. Accolades include RTE2FM Rising Artist, a TEDxStormont talk, and a Ditto Music gold disk. Her 2025 album DEKA debuted at SXSW Texas. In 2026, she begins an off-Broadway residency at the Irish Cultural Centre in NYC. A diversity advocate, she supports the ‘Why Not Her?’ campaign and mentors emerging artists.
