Known for songs of heart-wrenching honesty that reflect on love, family, loneliness, and artistic ambition, Slow Leaves brings a poetic voice to everyday experiences. Most recently the Western Canadian Music Awards Songwriter of the Year released “In Solitude, For Company” (2025), a collection of sparse retellings of his previously recorded songs he deemed “my saddest songs made sadder”. His new album, The Ruins of Things Unfinished, comes out May 1, 2026 on Birthday Cake Records.
