LFay is a lyricist & vocalist from the rural ends of Norfolk. Her sound is a combination of Old School Hip Hop and Urban Jazz, citing influences as broad as Amy Winehouse, Little Simz, Etta James, MF Doom & Notorious B.I.G. She weaves aspects of New-Wave Jungle & DnB into her more recent work – creating a sound that unites polarised audiences as it skips between genres. Her lyricism is a series of playful observations addressing the effects that isolating circumstances have on a young mind.
