Defences

Defences are a London-based alternative band known for their haunting visuals and atmospheric
brand of metal. Since forming in 2014, they’ve released 2 EPs and 3 albums, resulting in millions of
streams and an extremely dedicated fanbase. They released their 3rd album “Shadowlight” via Long
Branch Records in 2024 and have since played multiple sold-out headline shows as well as UK and EU
tours. Their festival appearances include Download, Takedown, and Reeperbahn among many
others. With the groundwork now laid, Defences continue to push boundaries while staying deeply
connected to their growing community through their #TheHeart fan group
