JUST ANNOUNCED

The Kooks will return to Brighton to headline a very special 20th Anniversary Spotlight Show, presented by NME, at The Deep End – TGE Beach Site on Wednesday 13 May 2026.

In a full-circle moment for the festival, the Brighton-formed indie icons were among the breakthrough acts who performed at the very first edition of The Great Escape in 2006. That same year, the band released their multi-platinum debut album Inside In/Inside Out, which also celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026.

Tickets for The Kooks Spotlight Show will be available via standalone tickets.

ABOUT THE SPOTLIGHT SHOWS

To access our Spotlight Shows you can either purchase a gig ticket for guaranteed entry, or if you have purchased a 4-day or single day festival ticket for the day of the show you can register for the chance to receive a free ticket. A limited number of tickets will be made available for each spotlight show on a first come first served basis.

Once registered for a Spotlight Show, you will receive an email the week of The Great Escape revealing where and when free tickets will be made available from. The ticket giveaway point will be on site at The Great Escape on the day of the Spotlight Show. In order to collect a ticket you must have previously registered your details on this page and have a valid Great Escape wristband for the day of the show.

Tickets will only be available on a first come, first served basis and will be subject to availability. A maximum of 1 ticket will be allocated per person.
