ALL ABOUT THE TGE CONFERENCE

The TGE Conference is the programme of events presented especially for the 3500 music industry professionals that attend TGE each year.

Running from Wednesday 8 to Saturday 11 May 2019, the TGE Conference includes the acclaimed CMU+TGE conference programme, a wide-ranging series of panels presented by our industry partners, numerous formal and informal networking opportunities, and educational sessions especially for those at the start of their music careers.

Across this programme, the TGE Conference enables delegates to learn about the latest trends, developments and opportunities in the music business, to debate and tackle the biggest issues and challenges, and to connect and do business with fellow music industry professionals from across the globe.

THE CMU+TGE CONFERENCES

Three full-day conferences within the conference where music business experts CMU put the spotlight on three key areas of the business. This year…

These are unlike any other music conference. With five hours to delve deep into each topic, they combine original research, how-to guides and timely case studies with one-on-one interviews and lively debates with and between key leaders and innovators in the music business and beyond. THE IN CONVERSATION PROGRAMME

Every year the TGE Conference features a series of one-on-one interviews with industry leaders and innovators. This includes three conversations as part of the CMU+TGE programme, with a stand-out In Conversation wrapping up each of the three CMU+TGE full-day conferences.

THE PARTNER PANELS

Alongside the CMU+TGE programme, TGE’s music industry partners together present a wide-ranging series of panel discussions, each focused on a different aspect of the modern music business. We’ll be announcing which industry partners are hosting panels this year – and the topics they are set to explore – very soon.


AIM HOUSE

In addition to the Partner Panels, the Association Of Independent Music hosts a whole programme of events for TGE delegates at AIM House. Based at The Queens Hotel, it’s a hub and home for the independent music community at TGE. AIM works with cutting-edge independent record labels and music companies to deliver a programme packed full of interviews, workshops, after parties, ‘safe tents’, networking drinks and much more. THE DELEGATE HUB AT JURYS INN

This year the TGE Conference is moving into a new home at Jurys Inn on Brighton’s seafront. This one venue will host all the CMU+TGE conferences and all the partner panels plus key delegate networking events. The hotel’s atrium, at the heart of the building, will also be the place where delegates can meet, connect and do business during the daytime, while The Queens – just next door – will continue to host the late night drinking.
