A PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME AT THE GREAT ESCAPE made possible by the kind support of Arts Council England
INTRODUCING TGE ELEVATE
TGE Elevate is the professional development programme for early-career music business executives and entrepreneurs, and aspiring music-makers, presented by The Great Escape and CMU, and made possible by the kind support of Arts Council England.
THE TGE ELEVATE SUPER-DELEGATES
As part of TGE Elevate, we invite 30 early-career music business executives and entrepreneurs – and aspiring music-makers – to attend The Great Escape as super-delegates. These people get free access to the whole of the TGE festival and conference, as well as bespoke webinars, networking opportunities and Q&A sessions with leading industry executives, both before and during TGE itself.
Each team of TGE super-delegates includes a diverse mix of early-career artist managers and promoters, venue and label professionals, self-managed artists, and entrepreneurs developing innovative music businesses. As well as benefiting from the TGE experience, this team forms their own professional development network, able to share ideas, insights, advice and information within the group.
Each year’s super-delegates are selected based on nominations made by TGE’s industry parters, which this year includes: AIM, The Association Of Independent Promoters, Attitude Is Everything, FAC, MMF, Moving The Needle, Music Venues Trust, She Said So, The Route Co, Thirty Pound Gentleman, Women In CTRL and Young Guns Network.
THE TGE ELEVATE SESSIONS
TGE Elevate presents a full day of panels, talks, seminars and debates aimed at those early on in their music business careers, whether on-stage or behind the scenes, on the final day of The Great Escape, Saturday 14 May.
This programme is open to all TGE delegates, but free spaces are also made available to students from several colleges and universities.
