The Buoys

The Buoys are an all-female indie rock band from Sydney, Australia, known for their cut-throat lyricism, fuzzy guitars and driving rock sound. In a few short years, they’ve released three EPs, including breakthrough single ‘Lie To Me Again’ which ranked #85 in Triple J’s Hottest 100, and toured Australia extensively with the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Wet Leg, The Dandy Warhols, IDLES and Royal Blood. The Buoys are slated to release their debut album later this year following on from the release of singles ‘I Want You’ and ‘Fight Back Time’, the latter a collaboration with Norway’s Sløtface.
