Phoebe Hall is quickly establishing herself as one of the most exciting pop artists on the
scene. Refusing to shy away from who she is, Phoebe writes about her experiences and
identity and queerness with significant honesty and wants to pour new energy into the alt-
pop world by exploring these themes with reference to her queerness in particular.
Phoebe received widespread support for her debut ‘Runaway’ EP, which was frequently
championed by BBC Radio 1 Future Pop (Maia Beth, Mollie King) R1 introducing (Gemma
Bradley) and BBC Intro York (Jericho Keys), with ‘Sometimes’ becoming BBC Radio 1
Introducing’s Track of the Week. Phoebe recently did a live session at the prestigious BBC
Maida Vale Studios and was also announced as one of the top 5 in the BBC Intro Live
Lounge competition.
