Born to a Welsh mother and a Jamaican father, Aleighcia Scott is one of soulful reggae’s brightest stars.
From humble beginnings in Cardiff, Aleighcia has performed in Jamaica, at Glastonbury, and Notting Hill Carnival.
Aleighcia’s debut album, Windrush Baby, produced by RoryStoneLove scored a number 1 on Apple’s iTunes Reggae chart.
Aleighcia enjoys strong radio support from David Rodigan Seani B, DJ Target, Craig Charles, Ras Kwame and Tom Robinson. She’s branched out into TV and Radio presenting, and hosts a regular show on BBC Wales. In another historic move, Aleighcia now deputises for the legendary David Rodigan’s BBC 1Xtra show.
