AGGRASOPPAR

Aggrasoppar [Agg:rah:soh:parr] is an electrifying flower-punk / axekiller-pop band from the Faroe Islands. Their live performances are infamous for being fun, instinctive, and full of surprises, spanning various genres and moods from harsh noise to soft country, featuring core members that go by the pseudonyms Ayphinn, Dada and Sóljudrongur.
Following a 20-song-strong debut album “æðrasoppar” in 2020, along with two EPs, they have released the first half of their second album titled “døgurðaslang/MIDNÁTTARSANG” this summer. This initial part, called “lunch-nap”, beautifully showcases their soft, nostalgic, and tender side.
AGGRASOPPAR has rocked festivals like The Great Escape, SPOT, G! Festival, and they’re all set to conquer Reeperbahn and Iceland Airwaves soon. They’ve also won the Music Competition Sement in 2022 and received nominations for Best New Artist and Best Song in Denmark.
