Rising queer-pop artist Loren Heat burst onto the thriving north-east scene in 2024. Recently signed to Interval Records (EMI North/Generator) on a distribution deal, the Middlesbrough native has fast become a must-see act at regional tastemaker festivals such as Twisterella, Stockton Calling and Waves Sunderland.

Exploring the turbulence of Gen Z life in the grim, grey, post-industrial Tees Valley, their anthemic queer-pop brings to mind such luminaries as Dua Lipa, Lady Ga Ga and Robyn.
