shortstraw. is a female punk/rap artist from Coventry recording everything in their mates shed. They are completely DIY. Their first ever live set was a live lounge on BBC Radio 6 which then led on to them supporting SOFT PLAY, The Libertines and STONE early 2024. Their sound is heavy, energetic and relatable telling stories of growing up in Britain. Bringing similar vibes to Hak Baker, The Streets, The Prodigy, Amyl and The Sniffers and early UK punk.
