Q. Where do I collect my wristband from?
A. Wristband Exchange will be situated in a brand new location this year. Head to Jubilee Street where you can exchange your ticket for your TGE wristband. Ticket collections can also be made here. For opening times CLICK HERE

Q. I’ve been informed that I need to collect my tickets from the box office. Where is this?
A. Our Box Office will be situated next to Wristband Exchange. For location and opening times CLICK HERE
Q. I have purchased tickets for the Slaves Pier Party. I’ve been informed that I need to collect my tickets from the box office. Where is this?
A. Our Box Office will be situated next to Wristband Exchange. For location and opening times CLICK HERE You will be able to collect your Pier Party tickets from Wednesday 17th May from our box office. After 5pm on Thursday all remaining ticket collections will be moved to the entrance of the pier party for collection.
Q. What does a festival ticket get you?
A. A festival ticket gets you access to all core programme artists, subject to each venue’s capacity. Please note that a standard festival ticket does not guarantee access to the spotlight shows. Register your interest to attend these shows on our Spotlight Shows page to receive further info on free ticket giveaways for these shows for festival wristband holders.
Q. Can I buy a single day ticket for TGE?
A. All single day tickets have now sold out. The final few 3 day festival tickets can now be purchased here.
Q. I bought a single day ticket but now want to attend for all 3 days. Can I upgrade my ticket?
A. Yes, please contact the ticket agent that you bought your ticket with. They will be able to assist you with an upgrade.
Q. When will my ticket be sent to me?
A. Tickets will be dispatched 3-4 weeks prior to the festival. If you haven’t received your ticket 2 weeks prior to the festival please contact the ticket agent that you booked through. You can find the customer service details of our main ticket agents on our ticket info page. If you purchased via our website the ticket agent is Ticketweb.
Q. What are ‘Transaction fees’ and ‘Booking fees’ that are being added to the cost of my Great Escape ticket?
A.The transaction fee covers the costs of processing orders, printing, packing and delivering the tickets to you. This fee also applies to tickets arranged for collection at the venue. The transaction fee applies per order not per ticket. If you purchase six tickets, you only pay one transaction fee. Tickets for The Great Escape Festival are sent via secure post.
Each ticket carries a booking fee which is included in the price of the tickets stated at the time of booking. The booking fee is the charge added on by the ticket agency for providing a service for you to book the tickets. It also covers the staff, customer services, credit card commissions and all other costs (including onsite box offices) associated with the running of the business.
Q. I booked my festival ticket on somebody else’s credit card / I booked tickets for somebody else who won’t have my credit card to collect the tickets. How can tickets be collected on site?
A. If you have arranged for your tickets to be posted to you just bring your ticket to wristband exchange during opening hours and we will exchange your ticket for a wristband. If you have arranged to collect your tickets on site please bring with you a letter from the card owner giving permission for you to collect the tickets. The letter needs to state the name of the person collecting the tickets and the last 4 digits of the credit or debit card used to make the ticket booking.
Q. I think I gave the wrong delivery address when I booked my ticket. What should I do?
A. Please contact the ticket agent that you booked your tickets with. They will be able to assist you with updating your info on their records.
Q. Can I buy tickets for The Great Escape from unofficial ticket outlets?
A. We do not approve of resale of tickets through unauthorised agents. We urge the public not to try and get tickets from these “secondary ticket outlets” whether that be unofficial ticket outlets or through auction sites, as it could well lead to disappointment. Also BEWARE OF TOUTS. Please only buy from authorized Ticket Agents. Please do not buy from unauthorized websites. No official tickets have been allocated by the promoter to any website not mentioned above. Please only buy from our official ticket agents. This is the only way you can guarantee that you will receive genuine tickets.
Q. What does a delegate pass get you?
A. Access to the Convention Events which include panels, debates, celebrity interviews, networking sessions and parties. You will also get priority access to gigs in our core venues subject to each venue’s capacity.
Q. Do I have to be 18 or over to attend TGE?
A. No, if you are aged below 18 please purchase a Young adults ticket which allows access for 16-17 year old to a good percentage of our venues. Q. I can no longer attend TGE. Can I get a refund?
A. All ticket purchases are non-refundable. We advise giving your spare ticket to a friend or colleague.
Q. I am an artist and would like to play The Great Escape. How do I put myself forward?
A. Artist Registration for TGE 2017 is now closed. Please sign up to our mailing list to be notified on when artist registration opens for TGE 2018.
Q. Could we send you our Press Kit?
A. Unfortunately we don’t accept Press Kits or submissions via email.
Q. I want to attend TGE but don’t live in Brighton. Where can I stay?
A. You can now book official festival accommodation options here.
Q. Why don’t I have the option to get a camping ticket when I try and buy a weekend ticket?
A. The Great Escape is a non-camping festival set in Brighton city centre. If you are attending TGE for all three days, we advise that you book to stay at our official TGE hostel.
Q. Where can I park my car?
