First Fifty Lineup for 2025 revealed

We are thrilled to announce this year’s lineup for the highly anticipated FIRST FIFTY live launch showcases. Set to electrify East London on Wednesday, 13th November, the event will feature a diverse group of emerging artists, kicking off the beginning of the countdown to The Great Escape 2025.

Spanning eight incredible venues in East London, FIRST FIFTY promises a night like no other, showcasing a rich tapestry of sounds that hint at next year’s festival excitement. In partnership with media powerhouses such as BBC Introducing, DIY, Dork, Notion, Ticketmaster New Music, Clash, and exclusive news partner The Independent, the event highlights the future of music, from folk and indie rock to experimental pop and soul.

Venue Highlights:

The Shacklewell Arms will host a night curated by The Independent, featuring performances from Scottish folk-punk ensemble Brògeal, Irish rapper Curtisy, and femme-queer alt-rock trio Queen Cult.

MOTH Club will see a lineup from Ticketmaster New Music including Luvcat, a theatrical-rock group from Liverpool, Manchester’s shoegaze artist TTSSFU, and the grunge-infused melodies of Keo.

Oslo will be taken over by BBC Introducing, presenting artists like Birmingham’s RnB rapper RUBII, Tottenham’s melody crafter common goldfish, and soulful singer-songwriter Saïna.

Sebright Arms, in collaboration with Dork, will showcase Manchester’s indie voice Chloe Slater, Irish group Cliffords, and psychedelic performers The Stingrays.

Paper Dress Vintage will have Clash presenting an eclectic mix with The Orchestra (For Now), ulrika’s bedroom from LA, and indie rocker mudi sama.

Folklore will resonate with the sounds of Notion’s picks including Konyikeh, street performer Allie Sherlock, and soulful Jessy Blakemore.

The Victoria, in partnership with DIY, will feature a blend of retro and modern sounds with acts like Ray Bull, Chloe Qisha, and the Disgusting Sisters.

Lastly, Two Palms will host an evening with Betty, Loshh, and Elinborg, bringing a mix of indie electronic, soul-funk, and genre-bending music.
