BIMM are pleased to be collaborating with TGE as Lead Education Partner for the fifth year running. With eight campuses across the UK, Ireland and Germany, the college offers courses in music performance, production, business, journalism and event management; with a consistent track record of student successes such as James Bay, Ella Mai and George Ezra.
Student artists and volunteers will gain industry experience throughout the festival with appearances at the BIMM Showcase, Street performances and Alternative Escape events, plus valuable behind-the-scenes involvement in areas such as Venue Management, Front of House, Box Office, Artist Liaison and more.
Mel Thornton – Head of Careers & Employability at BIMM, will appear as a panellist at TGE’s Education Conference to address ways of connecting music education and the music industry. BIMM’s support also extends to the newly launched professional development programme ‘Elevate’ which will include rising stars in the music business from the college’s talented alumni community.
