The Box Plus Network will be bringing their industry acclaimed new music campaign Box Fresh to The Great Escape on Thursday 18th May in Brighton. The partnership will see a Box Fresh stage at much loved TGE venue, The Old Market, running from 7pm – 11pm and hosting live performances from some of today’s most exciting emerging talent. The artist line up will be Ray BLK, dubbed ‘the Lauren Hill of the UK’, rising singer-songwriter, Jerry Williams, edgy soul singer Mullally and rapper Avelino.
Ray BLK said: “I’m so excited to be performing at the Box Fresh stage, The Great Escape is a dope festival for discovering new music artists so I can’t wait to see the other acts as well.” When asked what we can expect from her Box Fresh set, she explains: “Loads of vibes, good vibes. I’m all about uplifting music and lifting people’s energy”.
The Box Plus Network’s partnership with The Great Escape highlights our shared vision for supporting up and coming artists and introducing more new music than ever to fans. Box Fresh is a yearlong campaign which champions one emerging artist that they believe in each month, promoting them across TV channels The Box, Box Upfront, 4Music and digital channel BeBox.
The Box Plus Network’s flagship live show Trending Live! will also relocate to Brighton on 18th May and broadcast live from an exclusive space above Patterns, overlooking Brighton Pier. Trending Live! at The Great Escape, hosted by Jim Hill, AJ Odudu and Vick Hope, will give a real flavour of one of the UK’s most exciting music festivals. The show will introduce the audience to some of the biggest up and coming names at the festival with a mix of interviews and performances from: Croox, Avelino, Will Heard & The Amazons. The show will also cover the Box Fresh stage with highlights appearing in Trending Live! for festival season after the event.
