Honouring that old school Motown sound and working it into something of their very own, The Teskey Brothers are an unexpected revelation from Melbourne Australia. In 2017, they won hearts all over their homeland playing to packed venues and swooning festival crowds. Their first single, Pain And Misery, is a soulful ballad featuring a beautifully restrained groove underneath lead singer Josh Teskey’s smoked honey vocals. It’s a song steeped in emotion and truth, something you wouldn’t expect from a band of twenty-somethings from the outskirts of Melbourne.
This year upon the release of their debut album Half Mile Harvest, the band is bringing their infectious blues and soul music to the UK/EU for a run of headline shows and festivals.
